NearTalk(이하 "앱")은 사용자의 개인정보를 매우 중요하게 생각합니다. 본 개인정보처리방침은 앱이 사용자 정보를 어떻게 수집, 사용, 보호하는지 설명합니다.

핵심 원칙: NearTalk은 어떠한 개인정보도 수집하지 않으며, 모든 데이터는 사용자의 기기에만 저장됩니다.

2. 수집하는 정보

NearTalk은 어떠한 개인정보도 수집하지 않습니다.

익명화된 사용 분석

앱 개선을 위해 Firebase Analytics를 사용하여 다음과 같은 익명화된 데이터를 수집합니다:

  • 앱 실행/종료 이벤트
  • 화면 조회 (채팅, 설정 등)
  • BLE 연결 상태 (연결 성공/실패 횟수)
  • 메시지 전송 횟수 (내용은 수집하지 않음)
  • 앱 버전 및 iOS 버전
중요: 메시지 내용, 닉네임, 개인 식별 정보는 절대 수집하지 않습니다. 분석 데이터는 앱 개선 목적으로만 사용됩니다.

3. 기기에 저장되는 데이터

다음 데이터는 오직 사용자의 기기에만 저장됩니다:

  • 닉네임: 채팅에서 표시되는 이름 (기기 내 저장)
  • 메시지: 주고받은 채팅 메시지 (기본 24시간 후 자동 삭제)
  • 암호화 키: 메시지 암호화를 위한 키 (Keychain에 안전하게 저장)
  • 앱 설정: 알림, 테마 등 사용자 설정
참고: 위 데이터는 서버로 전송되지 않으며, 사용자가 언제든지 삭제할 수 있습니다.

4. 블루투스 사용

NearTalk은 주변 사용자와 메시지를 주고받기 위해 Bluetooth Low Energy(BLE)를 사용합니다.

  • 블루투스는 오직 근거리 통신 목적으로만 사용됩니다
  • 블루투스를 통해 위치를 추적하거나 개인정보를 수집하지 않습니다
  • 모든 블루투스 통신은 종단간 암호화(E2EE)로 보호됩니다

5. 데이터 보안

종단간 암호화 (E2EE)

모든 메시지는 Noise Protocol을 기반으로 한 종단간 암호화로 보호됩니다. 이는 중간에서 메시지를 가로채더라도 내용을 확인할 수 없음을 의미합니다.

로컬 저장소 보안

  • 암호화 키는 iOS Keychain에 안전하게 저장됩니다
  • 메시지는 기기의 보안 저장소에 저장됩니다

6. Panic Mode (긴급 삭제)

긴급 상황 시 모든 데이터를 즉시 삭제할 수 있습니다:

  • 앱 로고를 3회 빠르게 탭하면 실행됩니다
  • 모든 메시지, 암호화 키, 설정이 즉시 삭제됩니다
  • 삭제된 데이터는 복구할 수 없습니다
주의: Panic Mode로 삭제된 데이터는 절대 복구할 수 없습니다.

7. 제3자 공유

NearTalk은 개인 식별 가능한 데이터를 제3자와 공유하지 않습니다.

  • 광고 네트워크 없음
  • Firebase Analytics: 익명화된 사용 통계만 수집 (Google 개인정보처리방침 적용)
  • 메시지 내용은 외부로 전송되지 않음

8. 아동 개인정보

NearTalk은 13세 미만 아동의 개인정보를 수집하지 않습니다. 앱 자체가 어떠한 개인정보도 수집하지 않으므로, 모든 연령대에서 안전하게 사용할 수 있습니다.

9. 사용자의 권리

사용자는 언제든지 다음 권리를 행사할 수 있습니다:

  • 데이터 삭제: 설정 > 데이터 삭제 또는 Panic Mode 사용
  • 앱 삭제: 앱 삭제 시 모든 로컬 데이터가 함께 삭제됩니다

10. 정책 변경

본 개인정보처리방침은 변경될 수 있습니다. 중요한 변경 사항이 있을 경우 앱 내 공지를 통해 알려드립니다.

Anonymized Usage Analytics

To improve the app, we use Firebase Analytics to collect the following anonymized data:

  • App launch/close events
  • Screen views (chat, settings, etc.)
  • BLE connection status (success/failure counts)
  • Message send counts (content is NOT collected)
  • App version and iOS version
Important: Message content, nicknames, and personally identifiable information are NEVER collected. Analytics data is used solely for app improvement.

3. Data Stored on Your Device

The following data is stored only on your device:

  • Nickname: Display name in chat (stored locally)
  • Messages: Chat messages (auto-deleted after 24 hours by default)
  • Encryption Keys: Keys for message encryption (securely stored in Keychain)
  • App Settings: Notifications, themes, and other preferences
Note: This data is never transmitted to any server and can be deleted at any time.

4. Bluetooth Usage

NearTalk uses Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) to communicate with nearby users.

  • Bluetooth is used only for proximity communication
  • We do not track location or collect personal information via Bluetooth
  • All Bluetooth communication is protected by end-to-end encryption (E2EE)

5. Data Security

End-to-End Encryption (E2EE)

All messages are protected by end-to-end encryption based on the Noise Protocol. This means that even if messages are intercepted, they cannot be read.

Local Storage Security

  • Encryption keys are securely stored in iOS Keychain
  • Messages are stored in the device's secure storage

6. Panic Mode (Emergency Deletion)

In emergency situations, you can instantly delete all data:

  • Triple-tap the app logo to activate
  • All messages, encryption keys, and settings are immediately deleted
  • Deleted data cannot be recovered
Warning: Data deleted via Panic Mode cannot be recovered.

7. Third-Party Sharing

NearTalk does not share personally identifiable data with third parties.

  • No advertising networks
  • Firebase Analytics: Only anonymized usage statistics (subject to Google's Privacy Policy)
  • Message content is never transmitted externally

8. Children's Privacy

NearTalk does not collect personal information from children under 13. Since the app does not collect any personal information, it is safe for users of all ages.

9. Your Rights

You can exercise the following rights at any time:

  • Data Deletion: Settings > Delete Data or use Panic Mode
  • App Deletion: Deleting the app removes all local data
